Santa Ana, CA (September 5, 2024) – A car accident involving a pickup truck on I-5 South near Alton Ave resulted in injuries late Wednesday night. The California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene around 11:33 p.m., finding a pickup truck partially blocking the HOV lane on the center divider.

Two females sustained injuries and received medical attention at the scene. A Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Blue Kia Forte were also involved, with the Jeep having two flat tires due to debris. CalTrans crews were dispatched to clear debris and repair the damaged center divider.
