Kingfisher, OK – Fatal Collision on US-81 Claims One Life

Kingfisher, OK (September 4, 2024) – A fatal collision occurred on Tuesday morning, September 3, involving a 2019 Hyundai Elantra and a 2019 Toyota Highland on US-81. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that the Elantra, driven by Hubert Bob Savell, failed to yield at a stop sign, resulting in the crash. 

Savell was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Toyota Highland was transported to Mercy Hospital in Kingfisher, treated for injuries, and released.

Authorities have notified the next of kin. The investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
