San Joaquin County, CA (September 4, 2024) – A 35-year-old woman from Stockton tragically died in a single-car accident on Hwy 99 on Sunday. The California Highway Patrol reported the incident occurred around 3:25 p.m. when the driver lost control of a Buick near Cherokee Rd.

The vehicle veered off the road, crashed through a chain-link fence, and struck equipment at a nearby demolition contractor’s lot. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while a passenger sustained minor injuries.
