Chicago, IL (September 3, 2024) – Early Tuesday morning, a crash involving a semi and two cars occurred on I-94 southbound near 87th St. The accident happened around 12:30 a.m.
One person was taken to a local hospital with injuries. The crash caused a diesel fuel spill, leading to traffic diversion at 79th St for cleanup. All lanes reopened by 3:20 a.m. Authorities have not released additional details. The investigation into the crash and fuel spill is ongoing.
