St. Cloud, MN (September 3, 2024) – A collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 23 and 31st Ave NE in Sauk Rapids. At 7:29 AM, a westbound Ford Focus making a left turn collided with an eastbound Dodge Ram. Both vehicles sustained significant damage, and airbags were deployed in each. Multiple emergency agencies responded, including Benton County Sheriff, Sauk Rapids Police and Fire, and Mayo Clinic Ambulance.

Road conditions were dry at the time of the accident. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the cause of the crash. Further information regarding the drivers and passengers involved will be released later in the evening.
