Dresden, ME (September 3, 2024) – A crash on Route 27 near Carriage Ct on Monday, September 2, resulted in one fatality and four injuries. Around 2:46 p.m., Andrew Coombs, 33, of Portland, driving a sedan southbound, crossed into the northbound lane and collided with two northbound SUVs.
The collision left two children and two adults injured. Coombs was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
