Kansas City, MO (September 3, 2024) – A hit-and-run accident on I-35 near Armour Rd left a 62-year-old man with injuries on Monday morning. The crash occurred around 9:30 a.m. on September 2, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

A 2023 Dodge Challenger merged into the right lane, striking a 2018 Jeep Renegade from behind. The impact caused the Jeep’s driver to lose control and hit the guardrail. The injured driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The suspect driving the Dodge fled the scene. Kansas City and North Kansas City Police are assisting in the investigation. Authorities are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
