St. Louis Park, MN (September 2, 2024) – A tragic incident occurred on Sunday night, September 1, when a man drove his car through a restaurant patio at Park Tavern in St. Louis Park, a suburb of Minneapolis. The crash resulted in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to at least four others, including hospital staff.

Surveillance footage shows the driver entering the parking lot and then driving into the patio area. He has been arrested for criminal vehicular homicide. Among the deceased is Kristina Folkerts, a server, while the injured include four nurses from Methodist Hospital.

Authorities continue to investigate the motive behind this tragic event.
