Brooklyn, NY (September 2, 2024) – A cyclist died Sunday morning after an SUV struck him on Union Ave near Lynch St in Williamsburg. The black Volkswagen SUV, driven by a 40-year-old man, was traveling northbound around 11:30 a.m. when it collided with the 46-year-old cyclist heading in the same direction.

After hitting the cyclist, the SUV then crashed into a parked, unoccupied white Honda Odyssey. The bike was severely damaged in the accident.
