Kansas City, MO (September 2, 2024) – Two drivers died, and several passengers were injured following a head-on collision Sunday evening on Parvin Rd. Kansas City Police report that around 8:20 p.m., a speeding Mitsubishi Outlander with two juveniles crossed the double yellow lines and struck a Ford Transit van traveling in the opposite direction.
The Mitsubishi driver, not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene. The juvenile passengers were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The Ford driver also died later at the hospital. An adult and several juvenile passengers in the Ford were treated for non-life-threatening injuries and are in stable condition.
The identities of those involved have not been released. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
