Fresno, CA (September 2, 2024) – A fatal accident occurred Saturday night, September 1, involving a single vehicle on Elwood Rd and Fulgham Ln. The crash happened around 7:40 p.m. when a northbound 1991 Chevrolet S-10 veered off the road and hit a tree.

Emergency responders airlifted the 44-year-old male driver to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Paramedics transported a male passenger, who sustained moderate injuries, to a nearby hospital.

Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the accident. The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
