Miami, FL – One Killed, One Injured in Three-Vehicle Hit-and-Run on SW 8th St and 42nd Ave

Miami, FL (September 2, 2024) – A three-vehicle hit-and-run on Monday, September 2, resulted in the death of a 29-year-old man and injuries to a woman at the intersection of SW 8th St and 42nd Ave. Miami Police reported that officers responded to the scene shortly after 3:30 a.m., where they found the man dead.

City of Miami Fire Rescue transported the injured woman, who was driving another vehicle, to Coral Gables Hospital. She remains in stable condition. The driver of the third vehicle fled the scene and is currently unidentified.
